Egypt was a greater challenge. We stayed on the go almost constantly and were introduced to a new culture with unfamiliar foods. The visit was great and it was good to learn more about the land Moses and the Israelites eventually left.
To visit the Pyramids, The Valley of the Kings and ancient temples helped us better understand ancient civilizations.
Ancient Egypt’s search for God led them away from the true God and to create their own versions even worshiping some of the Pharaohs. This was the world from which God called out his true followers, Moses and the Israelites, to begin their own nation.
Egypt reminded us that many people are still searching for the true God but have settled for man-made religions that continue to lead many astra.
We ended our time in Egypt at Mt. Sinai as God continued to use Moses to help mold his, God’s, people, into a nation of priests.
