Greetings from the world of Paleontology.By now most of us have experienced the explosion of interest in dinosaurs that resulted from the smash hit "Jurassic Park". With this in mind, 7th and 8th grade Science students from Philadelphia Elementary School wondered what it would be like to create a "real" Dino Park. With the help of two student teachers from Tennessee Wesleyan College the students are getting a chance to find out. The projet was under the supervision of Philadlephia Science Teacher Patrick Wright.
Here is a recent photo of our student teachers.

Each Science Class has formed their own company with the purpose of researching dinosaurs and creating a model of a future dinosaur theme park. To accomplish this end they are learning about paleontology, embryology, model building. They are also learning to create and publish literature that will explain their project.
