The Allosaurus is another of the many flesh eating dinosaurs.The Allosaurus is 30 ft. long.The Allosaurus is the color bluish-gray.The Allosaurus has a bulldog neck, a large head,huge jaws,a bulky body,muscular hind legs,and sharp long claws.The Allosaurus loves Brachiosaurus meat.The mouth of an Allosaurus is like a cave,it has teeth like icicles.These teeth worked like a saw. His bones acted like huge hinges, they let him open even wider to swallow enormous chunks of his latest catches.This dinosaur lived in North America.
The Brachiosaurus lived in North America and in parts of Africa.He was one
of the massive dinosaurs.
He was about 74 ft.long and weighed about 77
tonnes.He was a big time plant eater.His neck was so long that he could
reach to the tops of
trees to eat.He had a feature that was unusual,
his nostrils were on top of his head.He was a huge dinosaur.Like a couple
of the other dinosaurs.
The Pinacosaurus was a relative of the Ankylosaurid.In fact he was the smallest
of this group.He had a back and tail that was covered with bony spines.At
the end of his tail there was a heavy bony club.This club was used for protection.It
could have been swung with force at the legs or towards the head of an attacker.He
had small weak teeth,that fed on soft vegetation. He lived in Asia.The Pinacosaurus
was an average of 16.4 ft.
The Stegosaurus is the best known of all the Stegosaurids. He had forelimbs
on his back and down his tail.There was two theories for these forelimbs.One
was that they were used for protection, the other was that they were used
for ''cooling.''He lived in North America.He was the most progressive of
all these types with the well developed plates. He was 20-24.6 feet.
The name of the dinosaur is the T-REX.The T-REX is 39 ft.long.The
Paleontologists believed that its color is orangish-brown. The T-REX is
a big flesh eater. Its family name is 'TYRANNOSAURIDAC.' The T-REX was thought
to have traveled in herds.Their chases were up to speeds 20 mph or more.The
T-REX has teeth about 7 inches long,and those teeth are as sharp as razors.
It has a massive head with a flexible neck,broad cheeks,and a wide brain
case. The T-REX was the 'KING' of the dinosaurs during his time.Its name
came from the word 'TYRANNO' , meaning 'TYRANT LIZARDS.'
