Anyone growing up in a small town during the late 1940's and 1940's must have many special memories. I certainly do. To relate those memories of a special time of my life would require a book. However, perhaps I can best sum it up by just mentioning a few names that were involved in 80 many football, basketball, and baseball games in backyards and vacant lots. Remember ------ Richard Jarvis, Robert Martin, Jimmy Emerson, The Brewster's, Buddy Edwards, Ed Waller, Richard Everett, Charles Patterson, Bobby Ridge, The Hill's The Scott's. Any time you call names, you risk failing to mention someone. Just remember the greatest memories are all the friends past and present.
